My guess is that property near freeways is just WAY to expensive to ever make it profitable for the cell phone companies to put up towers there.

I don't know. There one large cell tower located smack dab in the middle of a median on one of the major roadways going into Manhattan. It's all dressed up like a cedar ...a very fake cedar! LOL.

Hands down, Cingular has the best coverage in my pocket of rural ohio. They must have twice as many towers as all of the others.
