I think you'll find the key issue is one of having a wireless hardware connection. Do you have one? If not, there are some simple plug and play USB devices for bluetooth, but do some research first to ensure you have the relevant drivers for the USB device for Fedora!

I thought bluetooth was set up simply to be universal. It certainly isn't that way anymore, so what changed?

I am using Fedora 6. It has Bluetooth support. I am also facing difficulty to set it up. I thing the problem is how USB ports are handled in Linux. Even my Scanner is not working properly in Linux.

I think the best way to solve your problem is go to your bluetooth device's website and see if you can download a driver for Fedora core.

In OpenSuse it's just working better than Windows. It's an out-of-the-box solution. You will only need the bluetooth connector at your PC's USB device.

I've never heard of any of this stuff, so I thought this thread was about some new kind of bluetooth in a fedora hat...which would create a solution to guys looking funny with them in their ears!
