Default Texting

Just about everyone seems to text each other nowadays. Does it work out cheaper than having an actual phone call or is it just fun? Or is it that we don't really want to talk to anyone? I can't help but think it's a bit annoying. Isn't it easier to just ring a number and talk to someone?

I think it's simply that txting is simply cheaper than phoning. Not very good at text messages myself - much prefer to make the call regardless.

in our country, it's much cheaper to text than to make calls especially since our phone networks recently launched this promo of unlimited text for such cheap prices. also, people here in our country can't seem to get enough of sending jokes or quotes to each other through texting. i used to be one of them.

Texting is much cheaper rather than to call, because here also in our country texting is most commonly used, calls are much used by the businessmans and those office workers who need a reply immediately.

I a student and it makes a lot of sense for me to text than call because it turns out to be cheap than calling. I call only when its very urgent.

I prefer to just make the call as well, but there are times when you really don't want to 'talk' with someone that texting makes life easier LOL.

Texting is cheaper and that is why many take this route to communicate. Moreover you can plan and then communicate your message in texting.

I prefer to make the call too, but it actually costs me more to text. I have to pay extra in my call plan for text messages. I only text when I need to contact someone who is in a conference or meeting, or somewhere else that they can't actually take a call.
