my essence, i did a search about your question and i did find an article about slider phones. it talks about both the advantages and drawbacks of this kind of phone. one of the drawbacks it included is that it has no screen protection. i'm not sure, though, if this is true for all slider phones.

Slider phones do have their advantages and disadvantages. But i cann't imagine me slidding my phone everytime i decide to use it. Its too tedious for me.

Me either ....sure there are advantages, but I think it's mostly a pain. Maybe I'll come around if something is super cool, but ..........

For those who handle lot of calls per day, slider phones may not be actually a good choice. May be auto-sliding will be the solution.

Are you talking about phones like the LG chocolate? I personally wouldn't want to use a slider phone, but I don't really see how it's any different than a flip phone.
