The Advantages and Disadvantages of Bluetooth Technology
Some of the advantages of Bluetooth factors what this new wireless technology could entail, as it becomes more affluent in the future bringing people together because of the new technology. In other words, it could possibly take years before your refrigerator can communicate with your local supermarket by telling what you need for food or possibly have your own microwave tell you when your food is warmed up and hot. This could take years, but it would be great to see it when it comes. Some of the other advantages include electronically checking into your hotel from your own cellphonein any place you are. This lead some analysts to believe "...the vision of a truly networked house full of gadgets talking to one another is touted as a technological dream. But will the consumer see it that way, or will such a vision remain the subject of futureistic speculation". Some accepts Bluetooth could provide an easy solution for networking homes, but is not convinced its is something consumers necessarily want. In the example about networking homes there are two arguments. The first one predicts a master device controlling everything from the VCR to the microwave that will replace the PC as the technological hub for the home. The other argument displays that the PC will remain at the center of the networked home. The advantages of self-generating networks are very obvious in today's world. This would include mobile phones and could automatically connect with laptops to exchange data and establish Internet links. Phone connections could also swich from very expensive mobile lines to cheaper phone lines.
