Default Mobile phone casings/covers?

Do you replace original casing/covers with something fancy / good looking or you prefer original casing. I prefer to replace them to save the original casing from scratches. It helps to get maximum resale price when selling in used mobile market.

I have never been a fan of all the aftermarket casings.. but it's a personal preference.. I like simple and discreet.

I go for the original casing but I am also amenable to the fact that it needs to be preserved just in case we decide to sell the phone in the future. Casings which are sold don't have as good quality as the original ones and it is hard to find original casings in the market.

I'm not that big of fan of casings but I have a pretty good one just in case.

I like the idea that we can change our casings, however, I don't usually do it physically because I am scared I will screw something up. I opt for the decals and EZ peel stickers. You can change your phone alot more often because it is so easy and it still looks good and not some whack job you've done to your phone.

oh, this thread reminded me of my very first cellphone! i bought different kinds of casing for it--green, blue and even a tigger (as in winnie the pooh's friend) casing! the tigger casing was really cool with the whole casing having these orange and black stripes. i miss that casing. my aunt, who's a nun, always receives our old phones (one at each time) and i remember her having this tigger casing. lol.

anyhow, knowing how costly these casings get when you get addicted to them, as i changed from one cellphone to another i just stick to each phone's original casing.

I preferred to use covers, im using it right now on my phone its a crystal cover, so it can save it from scratches so the the original casing will be still the same as is it was from the first bought.
