Default If We Lost All Electricity...

If the world suddenly lost all electricity, what thing would you miss the most? What would be the hardest thing to live without? And I'm not just talking about electricity in the home - but all forms of electricity. Would it be your television, your computer, your mobile phone? For me, it would have to be my computer and my mp3 player. I don't know how I would live without them.

That would be the hardest ever if you actually worked online and had a loss of electricity!
No electric means no pay etc!
Hope you got it all sorted eventually Sweet and managed to catch up with you're work!

yeah, thankfully we had electricity on the 4th day because even commercial establishments had to close because of the strong typhoon which meant there were no internet cafes open. fortunately, i was able to catch up with my work on the 4th day. other people were not as lucky since they had to endure the electricity loss for 7 days!

I would have thought the same thing - until my oven died. I went for a month before a replacement came. Granted, I used a crockpot and a toaster over, but I also got pretty good on the grill. I think I could make it in that department.

I don't think it would be my tech gadgets that I would miss the most - I think it would be central heat and air. The south is just WAY TOO hot!

it's certainly hard when the electricity is out since that means i have to endure the mosquito bites at night and the humid climate here in our area. aaargh... i'm still lucky since a lot of people lose their homes and family during strong typhoons.

Ouch! I'm tied to my PC, so without it I'm a little lost. As would be my business.

If we lost all electricity, all establishment will be closed and many people also cannot work also due to lack of electricity, because generator cannot carry that all, and for the household we cannot do things that is connected to electricity, even small businesses will be affected

We are so lucky to have solar power. We aren't even connected to the grid, we don't even have a minimum bill! Good thing because I can't live without my laptop.

It would definitely have to be my computer, but fortunately anyone I'd want to talk to I could just get a hold of by phone. I've been trying to get back into old habits before the technology boom of the 90s, ie actually going out and doing things and meeting people that way, finding friends on the street without having to email or text...
