Default Apple Laptops?

Does anyone know very much about apple laptops? A friend of mine advised me to buy one. How reliable and well-built are they?

Compared to the others, Apple laptops are very well built. They are generally reliable, and they work very well for most purposes.

Apple laptops are the best, imo. But you also really pay top dollar for them. I think to buy an Apple and get your money's worth, you must be a heavy user in order to justify it. Spending $2500 on an Apple is very different from $750-1000 for pcs.

My friend has one and does some of the coolest stuff with it, like made a couple of short movies with it. I'm not sure what program it was, but it made me feel better because I always thought they were too expensive and he probably doesn't make more than I do...

A friend of mine just bought the top of the line laptop from them ...I think he spent around $4500. Heck, that's half a car lol.

Geez, that's almost a lifetime investment!
I would never pay that much, but I'd pay half that if I got good service and didn't have a lot of problems with it. It'd definitely be worth it.

I've had Apple laptops and loved them but they were paid for and maintained corporately. I miss them but the expense isn't something I want to shell out for all the time. They're the best but you've got to have the dough.
