Apple laptops are the best, imo. But you also really pay top dollar for them. I think to buy an Apple and get your money's worth, you must be a heavy user in order to justify it. Spending $2500 on an Apple is very different from $750-1000 for pcs.
My friend has one and does some of the coolest stuff with it, like made a couple of short movies with it. I'm not sure what program it was, but it made me feel better because I always thought they were too expensive and he probably doesn't make more than I do...
Geez, that's almost a lifetime investment!
I would never pay that much, but I'd pay half that if I got good service and didn't have a lot of problems with it. It'd definitely be worth it.
I've had Apple laptops and loved them but they were paid for and maintained corporately. I miss them but the expense isn't something I want to shell out for all the time. They're the best but you've got to have the dough.
