Zune music player?

I read that when this is released that Microsoft was going to let you download all the songs you bought from ITunes for free. They are hoping to tap into the Ipod customer's by doing this. I cannot seem to find that much information about the product overall. Does anyone know more about this product.

That would be amazing if it were true. Definately a way to get people onto the Zune and off the iPod. I just wonder how they will keep people from cheating the system?

Zune release Nov 14 in USA with $249.99. Microsoft will be selling only US meanwhile. Market UK end 2007 or beginning 2008.
