Default iPod Vs iRiver Vs Zen etc

What gets your vote for the best large capacity mp3 player?

For me, its the iRiver. Don't personally own one, but, even while iPods were in grayscale, the 'rivers were in full colour. They have built in radio, a lot easier to transfer files from any kind of device etc.

Your thoughts...?

IMO, i think the original Ipod, it was the one to launch all of the other ones. Its tough as nails too. I got the original when it first came out in 2002, and it still works like a charm.

Ipod was the original, how similar does that Zen look to the Black iPod?

iPod has my vote all the way...

I love my iPod, but my boyfriend swears by his Zen, and wants a River (but cannot afford it right now). I guess it depends a great deal on your preferences and what you need in a music player.

I am partial to the Ipod but I don't know much about the zen. I'll stick with what I have as it does a great job and has held up well for me.

I acutally love my mini disc player because of its extreme durability. It serves me very well.

I'd have to go with the Ipod. I owned a zen micro, and it was nothing but trouble for me.
