I don't own a cellphone yet. I have two friends that have a cellphone, one is the Super Mario theme "taden-ten-taden-ten-TEN...". The other one is the Simpsons theme song.

If I have a cellphone, I would probably have the Final Fantasy celebration ringtone. It's the one that you hear after you beat the enemies after a battle.

My current ringtone is the most basic ring sound I could find pre-programmed into my phone. I'm one of those old-fashioned people who believes that phones should RING, not play music! :P

i'm so boring that i gave up on downloading ringtones--i just use the nokia ringtones in my cellphone..haha...anyway, i remember my sister has this message tone of homer simpson saying something--i can't decipher what it is....i share a room with her and there was this one time that she's asleep, the lights were all closed and i was about to close my eyes when i heard homer's voice speaking----damn, i was terribly horrified.

My ringtone is the music from Pirates of the Caribbean. When I went to see POC2, my phone starting ringing, and I thought it was pretty cool that I got to hear that music just before seeing the movie. (By the way, it was just before the movie started. I had forgotten to turn my phone off.)

Count me in as one of those old fashioned people. I too just have a normal "ring" ringtone. I personally cannot see paying for a ringtone, and not creative enough to make one. Just not at the top of one of my priorities I fear.

I got a new phone last year mostly so I could stop having the annoying cheap ringtone! It used to be The Kinks' All Day and All Night. With the new phone (and real music ringtone), it was at first Franz Ferdinand's This Fire but since June 06 it's been Queens of the Stone Age's Go With the Flow.

I just downloaded a new ringtone, a clip of Queens of the Stone Age's new single "Sick Sick Sick" from their album Era Vulgaris that's coming out in June. Yay!
It won't be that way for long though, it's not nearly as beautiful or pleasant as Go With the Flow.

Sometimes when I buy a ringtone I do feel like it might be pointless, but I've only ever bought 3, it just suits my personality. It also used to differentiate who was calling me but now it doesn't matter, everyone gets the same.

I did that for a while too. I had different rings for different people. It was kind of nice to know who was calling so you knew if you even wanted to dig the phone out. But now I dont even have the ringer on most of the time if the baby is sleeping, so I dont bother.
