Default Wireless network

I have the Netgear 108Mbps DG834GT wireless ADSL router and ever since I bought it generally once a day it freezes. My laptop and family's computers can still connect to the network but can't access the internet. It works fine again once I've unplugged the power cord and then plugged it back in again.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Uhhh, well for starters you should go to your dealer and ask them for another one and that that does not work assuming you have the recept. At least they will try and see what wrong.

All else fails try a different brand. I use Linksys and it works great for the 3 people that are connect to it... that i know of.

Peace

might be some security type thing too. i know at mys chool anyone can detect the wireless network but you cant use it to go anywhere unless you are authorized by this program they have.

With our wireless netwok we were having problems too. I called them and was first told to remove my router away from the monitor a bit. It fixed the problem for a few days then it started acting up and freezing again. Called them back and they had to come out to my house. Turns out there's a piece in our phone box that needed to be removed when you get a wireless connection.

Yeah, it's worth your while to go and get it checked out. Although, I've always found mine to work again after a few days if I just push a bunch of buttons and leave it alone. You may wanna go more high tech than that.
